Deuteronomy 28:42-44

⁴² ·Locusts [or Crickets] will ·destroy [^Ltake possession of] all your trees and crops.

⁴³ The ·foreigners [resident aliens] who live among you will ·get stronger and stronger [go higher and higher], and you will ·get weaker and weaker [go lower and lower]. ⁴⁴ ·Foreigners [^LThey] will lend money to you, but you will not be able to lend to them. They will be like the head, and you will be like the tail.
